An Update on Edmound | Feb, 2021

What’s Been Happening

Remember little Edmound from our December and January donation cards? At six-months old, Edmound was diagnosed with a VSD heart defect, but his family was unable to cover the surgery cost to repair it. He has been living with the effects of this defect for over 3 years, waiting until the funds come in to allow him to receive his surgery. We are excited to announce that Edmound’s surgery has been fully funded! The hope is that he will be able to finally receive his surgery sometime this month! Please keep this little guy in your prayers as he prepares for his heart procedure. Thank you to all of our generous donors for making a life-changing difference in the lives of children like Edmound.

Room to Bloom’s mission is to promote the beauty of adoption and to ascribe dignity to people with Down syndrome and other special needs. We do this by partnering with organizations that are dedicated to orphan care and adoption advocacy, strengthening families who have children with special needs, and giving a voice to the vulnerable.
