An Update on Wide Awake International | June, 2022

A couple of months ago, we shared that Jed and Kim Johnson of Wide Awake International made the difficult decision to leave their homestead near Kyiv, Ukraine, and find refuge in Germany. However, a team of people stayed behind, and they are working to provide food, medical supplies, and respite for those traveling to safer areas. Wide Awake International has also established a call center for victims of the war to help with psychological trauma.

We want to help Wide Awake continue in its effort to supply humanitarian aid and Christ’s love to the Ukrainian people. The devastating effects of the war will not go away anytime soon. Kindly consider sending a donation for supplies that are needed. Please be in prayer for Wide Awake International and Ukraine as they live through this time of turmoil.

Room to Bloom’s mission is to promote the beauty of adoption and to ascribe dignity to people with Down syndrome and other special needs. We do this by partnering with organizations that are dedicated to orphan care and adoption advocacy, strengthening families who have children with special needs, and giving a voice to the vulnerable.
